Feeling Grateful for Your Feedback, It Keeps Me Rolling (copy)
Ideas on pursuing our individual dreams, not the dreams of others. Learning to hear our inner voice to guide us toward them while filtering out the noise of modern society’s dream pushers.
Hi,
I’m writing this from Paris. I’m here for blockchain week.
I feel grateful to be here. It’s been about two years since I dove head first into the crypto world. Lots has happened since then.
I also feel grateful to be here on my own terms. Circumstances were different the last time I traveled for a crypto conference.
The trip ended with me experiencing very difficult emotions. You can listen to the podcast I recorded on the way home from that trip here.
I attended that conference on the terms of others. The conference and associated difficult emotions represented the conflict between their terms and mine.
It turned out to be a time of destructive construction. By that I mean current conditions had to be destroyed for a new foundation to emerge.
I’m feeling liberated by building on top of this new foundation since then. It’s this foundation that’s allowed me to be here on my own terms.
This trip’s reminding me how important it is for me to roll on my own terms. I feel grateful for this reminder, too.
How about you? How important is it for you to roll on your own terms?
Let me know by responding directly to this email.
Catch you next week,
Chris

Semi-Random Thoughts
I added a book on Ayurvedic cooking to the book list. I’ve been trying to learn more about it, since taking an intro class with Yelena in January for my birthday.
We took the class at Bhagavat Life in NYC. The center’s associated with one of our favorite restaurants, Divya’s Kitchen.
Healing through eating feels very important to me. I’m still healing long-term health difficulties that started in my childhood. I’m convinced they started by eating the diet that was pushed on much of mainstream America by the food and pharma companies, supported by the FDA, during the 70’s and 80’s.
